Other than Yazhou Zhoukan, SOPA has also awarded Ming Pao Daily for "Excellence in Newspapers - Chinese Language Media", Mingpao.com for "Best Website" and Ming Pao Weekly for "Excellence in Feature Writing" etc. Ming Pao Group has taken 9 top prizes at SOPA 2003 and was one of the big winners. 洲 週 刊 攝 影 記 者 郭 永 強 以 題 為 《 沒 戰 爭 便 被 遺 忘 的 阿 富 汗 》 一 組 作 品 ， 於 本
年 三 月 廿 二 日 ， 贏 得 由 香 港 攝 影 記 者 協 會 主 辦 的 「 前 線 • 焦 點 二 零 零 二 」 香
港 新 聞 攝 影 比 賽 -圖 片 故 事 組 的 冠 軍 。 郭 永 強 於 去 年 底 隨 人 道 醫 療 救 援 組 織 「
無 國 界 醫 生 」 前 往 阿 富 汗 ， 以 照 相 機 紀 錄 了 飽 受 戰 火 摧 殘 的 土 地 和 人 民 ， 希

http://www.yzzk.com/events/promo/photoaward2003/ Photo Award Goes to Yazhou Zhoukan's Photographer On 22 March 2003, Yazhou Zhoukan's photographer Kwok Wing Keung was awarded winner of a photo contest "The Focus at the Frontline 2002", with his photo series named "Afghanistan, a Place Being Forgotten After War" in the Photo Essay Category. The contest was organized by Hong Kong Press Photographers Association. Mr Kwok followed the humanitarian aid organisation "Medecins Sans Frontieres" to Afghanistan last year, using his camera to record the destructive land and its citizens after war, which aims at arousing people attention towards the place. 選 約 1萬 名 讀 者 發 出 問 卷 收 集 意 見 。 調 查 顯 示 約 6成 讀 者 在 訂 閱 期 間 均 會 閱 讀
每 期 雜 誌 及 其 所 有 篇 幅 ； 在 內 容 方 面 ， 讀 者 們 較 為 關 心 中 國 及 歐 美 地 區 的 情
況 ， 並 希 望 本 刊 能 多 報 道 有 關 經 濟 、 科 技 和 旅 遊 的 消 息 及 多 作 名 人 專 訪 ； 另
外 ， 有 接 近 8成 的 讀 者 表 示 ， 全 面 的 時 事 刊 物 應 該 能 夠 使 他 們 增 加 個 人 知 識 和
對 時 事 有 更 深 層 的 體 會 。 Yazhou Zhoukan 2003 Survey With the objectives of understanding Yazhou Zhoukan's readers and upgrading the magazine's quality, around 10,000 questionnaires were sent out to selected readers in April. According to the survey, around 60% readers read every issue and every article of the magazine. In the aspect of content, readers show their interest particularly in China, the States and European countries and they expect more coverage on economics, technology, travel, as well as interviews with celebrities. Around 80% readers comment that an all-round newsweekly should help enrich their knowledge and their comprehension on current issues. |
